My buddy and I live in cali and he has a dad that lives in FL (between pensacola and panama city). I wanted to know what are the hand gun laws in that particular area of FL? He's looking to buy an off listed pistol (which is allowed in cali as long it fits the family intra-transfer law which it does for cali) so that his dad can transfer the pistol to his son who lives here in cali. Of course it would go through the FFL dealer.
Basically the son would buy the pistol and have it sent to his father home and then in turn he would transfer the pistol to a local FFL dealer here in cali. If anyone is familiar with the law or has a link I can send to him that would great. Thanks. |

I assume the OP's FL relative lives either in Okaloosa or Walton County, if I recall neither of those have waiting periods. I live in Escambia county which is in Pensacola and it has a three day wait on handguns; I heavily disagree with it. |
