I currently carry a Kahr P9 daily and really love this weapon.
I have been contemplating a full size service 9mm along the lines of the current thread running.
If I was to buy a full size service 9mm would the hive get rid of their Karh P9 and get a carry .45.
I have been wanting a carry size .45 but dont feel I need 2 carry guns.

So here are my choices:

1) Keep the Kahr P9 and get full size 9mm.
2) Trade in Kahr towards a carry .45 and get full size 9mm.
3) Keep the Kahr and get full size 9mm, then get a carry .45 to have ALSO
4) Keep the Kahr and get full size 9mm, then get a carry .45 ALSO THEN A FULL SIZE .45

Whatever you do, keep the manual of arms the same for your carry guns.

That is a hard choice so try to make it easy.  Get rid of the pistol you have and buy a full size 9mm and a full size .45 acp.

Barring the ability to purchase both calibers I think that I would opt for the 9mm.  My reasoning being that the cost of ammo for 9mm is cheaper thus you are more likely to shoot more and become more familiar with your side arm.

I think I will continue looking for the full size 9mm that I want,
and at this time keep my Kahr.  I am trained and very accurate with it so why change that.
I like the fact that I will have a carry piece, a full size service weapon, and my carbine rifle
all in the same caliber.  It is great to buy the same size ammo in bulk...
