Picked up a nice clean low mileage FEG PJK-9HP a few weeks back.. Great shooting pistol but with the thumb safety engaged the hammer will still fall. Was looking to see what I could do to help this out but have no idea how to get the safety out. Can anyone send me a link to a site that shows how or give me some directions? I pulled the mag safety with ZERO difficulty per an article I found (pin punches and little hammers are your friends) so I'm guessing this won't be much worse, I just don't want to force something out the wrong way. thanx |

Needless to say, pulling the safety requires removal of the sear first. Then you will have to rotate the ejector down/ forward and then pop out the safety by pushing from the opposite side. Keep in mind that the safety also keeps the hammer in place so you will also have that drop out afterwards.... You may be able to find instructions on line with Google. |
