My extractor is broken, but I can not push the firing pin in deep enough to remove the plate around it. Any other way I can change out the extractor or figure out a way to push in the firing pin more? Thanks for any help. |

You must have a model with a firing pin block. You have to depress the sear lever (which also functions as a firing pin block) to allow the firing pin to be removed or installed. That said, I don't remember having to remove my firing pin to change out an extractor. BTW, when I change out extractors I install Wolff extra power extractor springs. |
