Looking for a good leather or kydex type holster.  Specifically, I'd like one dedicated to the High Power in a pancake style either with or without a thumb snap for every day carry.   I had one from a reputable maker that fit "1911 and High Power" but the HiPower just doesn't fit snuggly into it.  It seems there is a lot of slop since the 1911 is slightly larger.

What do you recommend?

Pics and Links appreciated.

Thanks.

I carry mine in a Kramer Scabbard.

I paid about $98.00 or so.  Best holster I've ever owned.

I use a Fobus paddle for my IDPA matches & it does just fine. Leather retains moisture, secrets oils that damage a guns finish & will eventually stretch out of shape. I still like leather though.

Fobus sells for $20-25.

What model Fobus?  I have a Fobus for the 1911 and the HighPower is all sloppy in it.

About that Kramer, is yours specifically for the HighPower or is it a 1911 holster?

I want one that fits right.

It is specifically for a Hi Power.  They run about $99 apprx., but it's the best holster I've ever used.  Nice and tight.

My HP fits just fine in mine. Could be yours may need a bit of fine adjusting to make it fit better? Other than my Milt Sparks IWB leather rig, all my holsters are now Fobus for range, IDPA & CCL use.
