I've been trying to find information on this L series HP. I thought the L series were FEGs, however, on this particular pistol, the slide has the L serial number with 5 numbers, but the other side of the slide has the typical FNH engravings (Patent Depose).
The barrel has a five number serial number with no letters which does not match the slide. The frame has the importer as Interarms, Houston, TX. Both frame and slide are a shiny nickel, chrome, whatever it is. Can't tell if it's after market or not. Also, it has the lanyard ring. Any ideas? |

That's the part that makes it a counterfeit as opposed to a clone. |
