I recently found a Pre-B CZ-75 and now I need a Hi Power.  Please help feed my addiction and post pictures and info.

What is the best surplus Hi Power to buy?  If I can get a good one, I will arrange to have it legally imported into Canada.

Thanks

I would think that, as a Canadian interested in Hi-Powers, you should probably get an Inglis.

If you want a collector's piece, looking for a nice Browning T-series is always good.

I, personally, have purchased more than a few of the Israeli FN HP's from Cole's Distributing on Gunbroker.

I'm not a big 9mm fan, I have a Argentine Hi Power that's shoots fine and looks great. I told my ex-wife that they had one at the gun range-store. She's from Mar Del Plata AR. So guess what I get for Christmas Should have said they had a Wilson Combat 1911 If I lived in Canada and could only target shoot Id want one with
adjustable sights. That's all I got

Edit- for spelling

obviously an Inglis

but I do like my FEG Hungarian clone quite a bit.  Nice finish, reliable, and probably the most accurate gun I own at the moment.

I'd be looking for a 9mm practical, Browning / FN.

I bought an Israeli FN Hi Power off Gunbroker from CDI Sales.  I bought one of the excellent graded ones and its in very nice shape.  I just got it a couple weeks ago and have not yet had a chance to make it to the range.

Yes, you do.

MKIII on the left, Inglis on the right.

Honestly, I'd buy a MKIII if you can get one.
The Inglis is cool but they have shitty sights, the small thumb safety and I believe, the old style feedramp.
They've also got an internal extractor which takes a bit more work to find replacements for.

I'm looking to get a BHP as well and I don't know shit about them.
How hard is it to find a threaded barrel for it?
I see a lot of BHP on GB for $400 to $500, are any good or junk?
Is the Israeli one a good one?
Is there any BHP I should stay away from?
Will all 9mm ammo feed reliable?
I know that the triggers suck until the trigger safety is removed, but what are the cost to have that done?
Is there any other parts that need to be replace, like the hammer (bite) and sights?
Are all parts interchangeable?

There are pics on here of a real L9 marked BHP.

I'd find a PQ address 1950s model.

All three of these are from Cole Distributing.
