| I have a 1991 Browning in Satin Hard Chrome. I was thinking of blueing it or duracoating it. Should i just get an Isreali trade in to do, or is this acceptable? My only thought is that the hard chrome finish is usually a little more expensive. I know the pistol itself is not really rare or anything. Thanks for answers |

it has a couple of spots on it. s few dings where the mag safety was removed (maybe it can be smoothed out). also marks on the side where the night sights were installed. there is a dark spot on the top of the slide where the stock front sight post was.
i really like the pistol, just not what i really want, you know. i think i may sell it and get a blued. i will probably be better off in the long run |

They don't make them anymore. These are highly desirable. Buy a lesser acceptable gun for this change. Get a clone or one that has a less than desirable finish to remake. I say this because I own a BHP hard chrome and it is , by far, my favorite handgun. It is the most ergonomic and most accurate semi-auto I've ever owned. I've owned five BHP's, three blue and two Hard Chromed. They are the best semi-auto handguns I've ever owned!!! I still own one Hard Chrome HP. If I had to sell everything I own .... the BHP will be my remaining handgun!!! |
