Just picked up a P3AT from an auction.  When I cleaned the gun before goin got the range I realized the extractor was missing.  Would it be safe to fire the  gun with single  rounds until I can get a part?

Are you referring to the extractor or the ejector?

The 2G pistol won't have a firing pin assembly if the extractor is missing, since the same bolt holds them both in.  The 1G might work for single shots if you use something to pick the spent brass out of the chamber.  I doubt it will load rounds into the chamber well if at all.

Both will do OK without the ejector - just call the service dept at KT and tell them you lost yours and they will probably send you a new one for free.
