| i carry a p-11 everyday. i suck at the 50 yards with it. Would it be wouth put a laser on the gun??? |
And yet, best plans otherwise notwithstanding, if you do carry one you may one day find yourself having to take a shot outside of your comfort zone with the weapon (and minimalist sights) in question.
Absolutely. (Mine is a P3AT with the CTC unit, but I share your reasoning completely.) |

I have two armalasers one for the p.32 and the PF9 I'm took it off the PF9. It is bulky and i'm finding it hard to design a pocket holsters for it. The P.32 i have kept it on. It's acquisition is scary fast. It was made clear by the guy from crimson laser. You can shoot an aimed group from the hip at 25 yards. Granted these are not 25 yard pistols but This does translate to really fast times when shooting at 7 yards. Down side is if the laser doesn't work you better know how to shoot. Lasers are great tools but bell or a whistles can fail. Good marksmanship needs no batteries. |
Amen. Lasers are another tool in the toolbox. Lasers are NEVER a substitute for traditional firearms skills and practice. |

Please don't think that I have a problem with lasers, because I certainly do not. I just meant that I carry my Kel-Tecs concealed for up close and personal save-my-ass situations........where I can't get away, and either leave the scene and call the appropriate authorities if they are available. or return to the scene with more appropriate weapons like a rifle or a shotgun. If you have a laser sight attached to your Kel-Tec, and it increases your accuracy and effective range, I am all for it. |
