I hate the long trigger pull on my P3AT. Plus, the hammer drops at different trigger positions. Is there a different trigger I can install/have installed, or is there something I can do to change the length of the pull? The only reason I don't like the little pistol is that blasted trigger.

There is a poster (2PistolPacker) at the Kel-Tec Owners Group site that sells a trigger mod.  He also makes steel mag releases.  He is, however, behind on his orders due the floor collapsing in his shop.

I thought Packer only was into P-11/P-40 triggers?  (He was just Packer back when I used to frequent there.)

mrbrooks, I suggest you might be better served leaving the trigger alone.  Mine is long and about 5 pounds.  The weight is fine for most, and the length is the pistol's only safety.  Even if you find a way to significantly shorten your trigger pull (I don't think the guy on KTOG has, BTW), I am not so sure you won't will end up with something potentially dangerous.

You might try the Bill White trigger stop.  It is quick, simple and some think it makes a big difference.  There is also an internal stop you can make if you want something more elaborate.  These mods reduce the overtravel, and thus do not compromise the "safety" aspect of the long trigger.

These are good ideas. I'll take a closer look at home remedies.
