| I want one of these but I don't want to have to send it back to the factory if it does not work new out of the box as was the case with my p3At. Of course Kel-Tech took care of the problem and now I love my .380, but I have grown impatient with gun companies of all price ranges (kimber, Smith, to name others I know people that have had problems with) stocking stores with sub quality function. Thanks in advance. |
| I've shot my friend's sub2k (glock model) a LOT. Fun little carbine. Has been perfectly reliable. The only thing I don't care for is: 1) the front sight is plastic and 2) the charging handle can come back and hit your cheek because it is on the "stock" part of the gun-- but this depends on where you rest your cheek, I guess. |

No problems here. I have had it since it very first came out. (.40 cal with Glock mags) Mine is pretty accurate and easy to re-acquire targets as the action is in the back and does not rise a bit just kicks back a little. Only problem is I'm a fairly big guy (frame wise) and feel a lettle awkward the way i have to cock my head to see the sights when it is rested on my shourder. |

i love mine (it uses Glock 9mm mags). it's difficult to see the sights with big ear muffs, but easy with the ear plugs. if you can buy one in person, make sure it folds up inline. when folding, i have to push the barrel a tad to the left to make it line up. it's a common issue, but no really a problem. |
| My Sub2K uses Smith mags and I like it a lot. The only problem I have is I get stovepipe FTE's when I use 115 grain ammo. It'll run all day 124 grain or heavier. It makes ammo selection problematic. You could consider this sub quality function and I'm sure Kel-Tech would fix the problem but, it's a quirk I'm willing to live with. |

I bought mine used from a pawn shop for cheap. Took it home and tried to run a clip through it (glock mags, ball ammo) It would fail every 2nd or 3rd round, no exceptions. I took it apart, checked feed ramp, etc. Finally I sent it back to Kel-Tec for repair. They did some work to the feed ramp and found a pin missing somewhere. They were fast and helpful and the rifle is great now. Not one more failure since I got it back. The gun could have been in less than working shape when I bought it. Hence the pawn shop but Kel-Tec didn't care and now I don't either. I keep it folded up in a box I made on top of my Coke machine and it comes out anytime I need something with more range than the pistol. |
