I have a Sub 2000 in 9 mm. For those of you that have one, there is a little trick you can do.
Cock the rifle, put the safety off....then put the round into the chamber (with the rifle folded) and put a small amount of clear fingernail polish on the round. The polish will dry, holding the round in place.
This allows you to keep the rifle folded, and when you have to use it, simply close the rifle and fire.
This works beautifully, and is safe.

even though this is not a handgun tip, it is very cool. I'll have to remember it when I finally get my own Sub2k.
