the trigger on my cz-70 seems to have a 50lb pull in double action and there is a lot of slop in it in single action. any way to clean this up?

I have a couple of cz70's. I can't remember where I read it at but I found an article awhile back about trimming the coil spring on the hammer. I did it on my "beater" 70 and it did help the pull some. I was afraid to snip too much being afraid I would start having light strikes. I have to agree the normal DA pull has to be about 50lbs.

I don't have a cz70 at the moment but have seen a bunch of them in Iraq over the years.  I've owned 4ea cz50s that are similiar that I bought in Germany during the late 80s.  Trigger pull was hard in DA for those also.  Here's an exploded view of a 50.
