I think I need a Kadet kit, but I'd prefer to have a threaded barrel given that I'd also like to have a suppressor in the near future.

I know they exist, anyone have a source? I'm also wondering how it's actually done, because the Kadet's barrel does not protrude from the slide.

ETA: Tactical Innovations sells a complete threaded Kadet pistol, all I need is the kit as I alread have a '75B and a '75 SP-01.

they used to sell the kit and the adaptor..
most of the ones I have seen..they use a thread adapter.. threaded  to the barrel and then the suppressor is threaded onto that adaptor

Yeah, I don't know why they don't offer the kits or the individual adapters. (Any more, that is... they definitely had them before.)

Somebody on the CZF boards said that Tornado Tech can hook up a Kadet kit with the necessary modification & thread adapter (though it's not explicitly listed on their website).

Is it easy to remove the barrel from the top assembly? Is the barrel available from CZ?

If so, I may be able to thread it and make an adapter myself.

I got my threaded conversion from Tactical Innovations, however you could also just pick up a standard one and have Tornado Tech thread/extend it for you.  You could also do a search for user name HOTROD9mm as he sells a nice thread adapter which fits flush with the muzzle....you could then thread your own barrel to accept it.
