I shoot this gun for IPSC:
I recently had a Hi-Viz front sight installed on it to help me pick up targets better. I shot my first match with the new sight today & I may have had THE highest score I've ever had with this gun! 
This sight allowed me to pick up darker targets REAL fast when compared to my old OEM black front sight. If anyone is shooting any sort of match, I strongly urge you to check these out. One's original sight can always be put back in if you don't like it, FWIW. |
I've been doing the fiber optic thing for 8 years.
After the first IPSC match that I RO'ed and the shooters with the f/o just jumped out. The only way to go.

I am very seriously considering a .40 TS for Limited. (I currently shoot Production and Single-Stack.)
If I get one, it will be coming with the FO front (plus a few other things, since I will just get it from the custom shop). I ordered a FO front for my CZ 75B Ω the day after I bought the pistol, and yes, it is glorious, as FO fronts always are (though I personally despise FO rears, as I feel they draw too much focus to the rear) |

I'm running a gold bead of front on my TS, and so far it's been alright. Really liking the fiber on my production gun, so I think I might try the switch too. Only thing I don't like about fiber is that during some indoor matches I was shooting it varied in intensity, based on my position relative to the overhead lights. That was kinda weird. Outside, it rules though IMO.
You guys who are ditching your TS front sights; you have any plans for them? I could use one or two to try and match up with a Heinie rear I'm wanting to install...... |
