Hi guys Ill be getting a Decocker Compact Cz75 once I get my pistol permit.
I am in NY state which effectivley exteneded the fenderal assault weapons bill.
Im looking to buy some magazines that were made before 1994. Is there some sort of a guide for magazines? How can I be sure its pre ban?
I seen a frame of one of the Cz75s and the inside of the frame wasnt painted blak is that normal?

thank you.

Not sure about your model, but many mfgrs finish only the outside of the gun to save $$$ in the process.

As for the mags, dare I suggest you place the onus on someone else to prove they're not pre-ban?

Yes according to our constitution the burden of proof lies on the prosecutor. Doesnt work like that in real life. Bugs the hell out of me how difficult it is to get a pistol permit in NY yet I can hop on a bike ride over to Vermont walk in the gu store drop a wad of cash stick the pistol in my pocket and im legal.

Im bouncing out of NY as soon as I get my degree in history. There is a good grad school for military history in Vermont.

uh, no! Out of state pistol purchases are federal crime. (I could be wrong, but pretty sure if you live in NY, you could only buy a long gun in VT)

I know that, I was reffering to vermont laws, where one only needs to walk in and buy a pistol vs the hassle in NY along with our 186 million dollar database which netted zero convictions.
