My local gun dealer is making me an offer that seems to be too good to pass up.

He has a 75BD...like new looking, case, manual/test target and 2 mags (1x10 rd and 1x15rd).  Fixed sights, baked on looking finish, decocker and an EXCELLENT trigger (esp. the double action...just plain sweet!).

I asked him if he'd take $350 for it and he said "yes...from you I will"  No kidding...I've bought 6 guns in the last 2 months and 4 of them were from him!

I'm no expert on CZ's...never owned or shot one...but this looks like a hellova solid buy...what sayeth the hive???

Thanks!

My wife has one, she loves it.  The thing is a work horse.  I shot 3000 rounds through it before the first cleaning, it never failed but it was getting embarrassingly filthy.  I like the decocker too, no worries about carrying cocked and locked.  The mags are solid and reasonable and generally made by Mec-Gar now I believe.

There are quite a few upgrades for parts on the market now but Mine is stock with night sights and I don't think I would change much.  She likes it because it is heavy enough to tame the recoil.

I am not a fan of decockers, esp. since CZ DA triggers leave something to be desired in some cases, but otherwise it should be a great gun, and that's a pretty good price.

buy it and shoot it.

thats the only way you will find out what youve been missing.

Yeah, I'll end up buying it.  My resistance is weak...

I can just "tell" by holding it in my hand that it's a good shooter.  It has positive karma...lol.

It's getting to the point where my FFL know's as soon as he sees me coming in the front door that he's gonna sell a gun.    He knows how I take my coffee.

when i got my first CZ, a 85, back in 1985, i wish i would  have got more back then since they were cheaper, but i was buying other toys.

yes, the feel of the CZ just feel right.  i know that if i p/u a CZ (w/regular stocks), i know how it will feel.

Is good that you have a FFL that knows you and is willing to give you a break.  You cant imagine how you will benefit from that relationship in the future.  Just remember that relationship goes both ways too.  If you looking to collect particular guns, you can let him know.  my dealer will sometimes give me first dibs on used guns.  it will depend on who else is looking for the same thing or similar.  he trys to spread the happyness around.  Also, the majority of the times, my FFL can get the guns alot cheaper then what they are going for on the web.  Sometimes i may pay going rate for a current production gun, sometime i get a really good deal on them.  it all depends.

Of course, I already know you're going to love it.
