I recently purchased an extended barrel for my CZ-85B to thread and add a suppressor to, however it doesn't seem to quite fit my handgun.  The barrel was marketed as a CZ-75 barrel, however the representative at CZ USA ensured me that it was indeed compatible with the 85B.

Here's some pics:

As you can see, it fits, but the slide doesn't lock closed when the slide stop pin is installed.

A closer look:

In that last pic, you can see there's somewhat of a noticeable gap at the back of the chamber, sending up huge safety flags for me...

Now, when I take the slide stop pin out, you can see that the slide lines up perfectly, leading me to think that there's something wrong with the interface between it and the new barrel.

For comparison, here's what it looks like with the standard barrel installed:

The barrels look nearly identical, the only difference I can see is that a little jut of metal on the rear of the extended barrel looks a bit larger than its counterpart on the regular barrel.  It's hard to capture it in a picture, but here's my best shot:

Anyone have any ideas?

I think the lug is left there for you to hand-fit the barrel to the frame to ensure it is locking properly. I'd check with CZ-USA to be sure, but it probably just need to be filed to fit.
