Angus Hobdell is reporting that there is a p-06 in the CZ future.  Basically, a 40 caliber version of the P-01.

P-06 and other goodies

Hmmmm. The PO6 sounds good. Hopefully it will be available with a manual saftey instead of a decocker.

I'm guessing decocker, since he saw this at a Police demo.  Plus, CZ already fields a manual safety version in the CZ 75 Compact .40, even though it's steel framed and not alloy framed.

We'll just have to wait and see for sure.

I hope it does not have all the feeding problems the 75 compact has in .40. It should not though since my full sized .40 runs great.

My fullsize .40 has been flawless, too.

My compact .40 didn't develop feeding issues until earlier this year.  Polished the feed ramp, replaced the mag springs, the recoil spring and the extractor spring and still it would jam ... just not as bad.  Couldn't rely on it.

Finally gave up and restored the original springs and sent it to CZ-USA.

CZ-USA replaced the mag springs, the recoil spring and the extractor spring and gave it a "ramp" job.  Returned it and it's been flawless ever since.  I'll even carry it instead of my P-01 at times.

Why CZ-UB won't resolve this issue is beyond my understanding.  They are losing a lot of goodwill by not addressing the fix and leaving it to be resolved by CZ-USA instead.
