I have to ask, what holster is that? I am trying to find a slightly better one for my CZ70. Really need to post a picture of it together.

It’s here.

Freaking sweet setup.

Sights from Dawson on the way, springs from Cajun, and mags from Greg Cote!

Ok, my Israeli compact. Been owned by at least two others here. Steel framed. Only things I've done to it are new recoil spring, front night sight, and the grips.
@finslayer83 is trying to talk me into getting it a cajun refresh

Just returned from them Cajuns, now maybe the most expensive RAMI around. I did the carry package to it my self, very pleased, did a75 as well. Good results. So when it's time to join carry optics master race, slide was sent in for milling. I had to modify my newest hybrid holster for it, will save the nice leather for my other Ramis. Will start training with it tomorrow, I have a red dot on a Ruger 22 and enjoy it a lot. Old boomer with shit eyes.ETA,add a pic in Concealment Solutions IWB. Not sure about my DIY optic cut, do they leave a tab like I have , or just lower the top of the pocket.?Attachment Attached File

Is there a place to buy used CZs for substantially less money than new ones?

@Alpha-Romeo3

How does that clone compare to original CZs? I read a claim one of the clones is better than the CZ but don't remember which it was.

Not that drastic.

It's a distributor's special...can't remember which one, but it's basically just waiting for them to do another run. Like the Colt Talo distributor specials, etc.

@peacemantu No idea, probably from CZ as the distributor just distributes them. Google should be able to tell you more than I can..

IIRC, those are made by Tanfoglio. I don't know how they compare to CZ when they were made.

As far my my research could go, it seems limited batches were made for Israeli contracts.

@joescuba might be able to share some insight as he’s the only other person I know with em. He’s also full of wisdom.

Currently I don't yet own any CZ pistols but from my other HK, Sig Sauer & 70s Belgian made Browning Hi-Power pistols the quality of my ITM AT-84S is comparable to my noted pistols.

According to J.M. Ramos (who wrote the book “The CZ-75 FAMILY: The Ultimate Combat Handgun”) said and stated that “the ITM - manufactured AT-84 and AT-88 models are the finest copies of the Czech Model 75, matching or even surpassing it in overall quality and finish.”

Here is a short info about the manufacturer of the AT-84S ITM Switzerland:

This AT84S pistol is Swiss-made (according to Swiss ultra-high standards) by Industrial Technology and Machines (ITM) in 1984, it was discontinued in the late 1990s.

Shortly thereafter, ITM was acquired by SPHINX Engineering, which reissued the model (ITM AT84S) as the SPHINX AT2000S.

The ITM AT84S (and the Sphinx AT2000S) is a clone of the Czech Republic’s “CZ 75” semi-automatic pistol. Less than 5000 were made and a limited number were imported in to USA. This pistol is one.

Thanks.

I need to check out that book.

I read a little about the Sphinx.

Is your Sig Sauer German made? Enthusiasts of that brand say the German made ones are better than the American made ones.
