| Can anyone tell me if this is a decent gun. They are selling for quite cheap right now. Thinking of it for plinking for my wife, but I don't want something that is going to blow up in her face. Help. |
| I bought a CZ70 about 6 months ago and I can tell you that these guns are very well made and considered WAY undervalued by most Shooters and Gunsmiths that I have talked to concerning this weapon. They are very accurate with ball ammo, and very reliable also. If you decide to get one I suggest you get one that is rated as "EXCELLENT CONDITION", It will only cost slightly more. There are alot of CZ70s out there that are not in very good condition and you don't want to be stuck with a gun that has to be tweeked and meddled with to work like it should. I suggest that you get one at a gun show in your area so you can look it over before you buy it. a decent CZ70 should cost no more than 120.00 and it is worth every penny. My Daughter loves to shoot the little pocket rocket. You shouldn't be dissapointed if you get one and you can't beat the cost and quality of these guns. |

I dont have a 70 but I do have a 50. I own several older cz pistols. The 50 and the 70 were made for police as service autos. They run 80 wholesale, then 15-25 to ship, then 20 or so to the FFL for the paperwork. Pay for the pistol and shipping yourself so you can save the sales tax if the FFL pays for the whole thing. So for 125 you can have a pistol the ladies can shoot and actually hit something with. If you dont like it you can always sell it for what you paid or a little more. Lebrew |
