I requested a custom Silverback from Dan Wesson, and they agreed to provide one. I chose the Silverback because it has an adjustable rear sight and no rail. I carried a TRP Operator for a few years using a Milt Sparks VM II, but I decided I would rather have one without the rail. The options requested were the short trigger, a magwell, and ambi safety. The ambi safety is a necessity because I can't tell from one day to the next which hand will hurt worse.
It took 3 months from order to delivery, and here it is, all in its crappy cell phone pic glory:
