I have 2 P9's that are both missing the firing pin block and spring. Are they available, work with Witness parts or CZ? |

The Springfield P9 pistols are Tanfoglios so it should stand to reason that the Witness parts may possibly fit. It that statement seems slightly ambivalent it's because I don't know much at all about EAA/Witness/Tanfoglio pistols. Ken_Mays is a vast wealth of knowledge and may be better able to offer information on parts for these pistols. I'll see what he has to say about parts. |

Might try contacting (phone calls) Cajun Gun Works or CZ Custom. They work on these pistols all the time. Some of the parts they sell are advertised to fit clones, some parts are made for the clones.
Go to their web sites and look up the phone number and give them a call. |

I own a few Tanfos and parts (assuming you can even find them) do vary between models, with not much in the way of reference to guide you. It's one of the more frustrating things about owning them. Generally, the older the gun, the closer to the CZ design it tends to be. At least you are only missing parts that won't detract from the gun's operation. |

I looked and it is different. I was going to redo the finish on a CZ85 I bought from Buds awhile back. I will see if it fits in the P9, it looks close but may need some slight modifications. Lucky it looks like material needs removed rather than added on. |
