I just picked up my new P-07. The trigger (double action) seems very heavy. I have not shot it yet, will it lighten up/smooth out with use or do you have any suggestions to improve the pull? Anything I can polish myself or do I need to look into getting it professionally done?

Thanks
Huck

One thing you can do is adjust the spring under the trigger bar. It is on the right side of the frame and looks kind of like a bent-up paper clip. If you disengage it (push down and pull toward middle of the frame) you can bend it down 1/8"-1/4" and that will lighten the pull slightly. It has been discussed many times (not sure if here or elsewhere) so you may be able to find a better explanation that I gave, and maybe some pics if needed.

Thanks Derek. That link has what I talked about, plus other things you can do. I will say that the CGW parts are definitely worth the money, and you don't have to do everything at once, although there are a couple of things that you need to change together. I put all the CGW parts in my .40 P-07, but did so in stages rather than all at once.
