Is there a video or tutorial somewhere on the web? I've always been quite intimidated by the decocker CZs.

I've always read you need a slave pin for the sear cage reassembly.  I have a few CZs, never been brave enough for a detail strip.

The video I linked is pretty illustrative, I just found it myself. I think I might even try to install a CGW kit myself.

It looks like he does use a wooden dowel as a slave for the sear cage, and I do agree it looks impossible to reassemble without a slave pin.

CGW sells a metal pin for this exact purpose: https://cajungunworks.com/product/s-pin/

I took my P-01 apart to install a bunch of CGW parts in it. Decided to take apart the entire sear cage assembly and give it all a good cleaning while I was at it. I don't think I could have ever put the thing back together without a slave pin.

That being said, I am cheap and didn't feel like buying a slave pin that I would only use once or twice, so I just cut the tip off of a coat hanger and used that. It is a perfect size, you just need to cut it to the right length.

I used a slave pin. I believe I was able to use the pin that holds the trigger in. The only reason I am taking that block apart again is when/if I get a short reset package for the gun(PCR).

I bought a surplus compact 75 D and wanted to clean it good, used part of a paper q tip as a slave pin the first time.  Bad idea, but I got it to work

I ordered a slave pin along with the CGW parts so the next time went a lot smoother.
