Got to the range today for my first outing with my P-07.  It was detail stripped before putting a light coat of Hoppes on it.  Waiting on some more M-Pro lube to come in the mail.  Took 200 rounds of Federal Classic JHP 115gr (this ammo used to be awesome back in the day, no not so much, but in some guns it is VERY accurate).

Started shooting at the 7 yard line and then went back to about 25 yards.  Once I saw where I my POA vs my POI was, I picked up a few other pistols to make sure I wasn't doing anything funky with the trigger (too much caffeine this morning), which I wasn't.  So I'm going to drift the rear sight a small bit and get back out there again soon.  So far loving it.  The Surefire XC1 is the perfect fit for this pistol also.  Now wanting to call up CZ and get the P-01.

The target below was shot at about 10-11 yards (the range uses feet and I was somewhere between two known feet distances), and as you can see, I'm going left.  Pulled a few shots, and don't mind those two that would have harmed innocent bystanders, I hear that's a perk to the NYPD shooting capabilities.  LAPD also.

So, first 200 down, many more to go.  (Not all 200 are on this one target.)  Shots were about 3/4 second each shot to 1 second per shot.  Did a couple double's on some other targets...still need to get used to this thing, they were nothing to write home about.  SA pull is very nice, almost too light and the DA is a bit stagey but I'm going to put another 800-1000 through it before I even think of messing with the trigger.  Currently configured with the safety to roll Condition 1 like my H&K's and 1911's.

ETA: Any time you see Tim from Military Arms Channel do an indoor range shoot, this is the range.  Blythe's in Valparaiso, IN.  Pretty good range, and awesome selection of firearms along with Copper Custom being in there also.  For a Thursday morning, they were packed, which makes me smile.

Same here. I've got a Gen4 19 that's not going anywhere, but The P-07 has acquired my interest.

I shot a buddy's P-07 Duty in .40 and it was fantastic. I like the trigger very much and felt recoil was surprisingly mild with the .40 which has been snappy for me in other platforms.

Needless to say, it was very accurate. It was my first experience with a CZ pistol, and I was impressed.

I tried the others (plastic framed guns from Glock, SA, S&W) and kept looking for accuracy and reliability in one package.  I bought one of the older DUTY model P07's in .40 S&W with the idea of sending it to CZ Custom to have a .357 SIG barrel made/fitted to it.  After the first range trip no way was I going to ruin the best shooting handgun I've bought in years.  The groups are amazing.  It feeds/fires/ejects 100% so far.  It lead to a P09 in 9MM and I got the same thing.  Scary accurate again.  The jury is still out on the P09 .40 S&W I bought after the 9MM P09 but I need to shoot it some more after I changed the trigger.  The new style trigger on the P07 and P09 is okay on the 9MM but the .40 S&W P09 was eating the end of my trigger finger after a few rounds.  I ordered one of the old rounded triggers for the DUTY model P07's and swapped them out.  The rounded trigger works fine for me now.

They are under appreciated for their accuracy, reliability and cost.  Not nearly as much in the way of holsters available for them.

I you are one of those folks that like to maintain their own guns, take a look at CZ USA's website, CZ Custom's website and Cajun Gun Work's website.  You'll find just about the best assortment of factory and aftermarket parts available for any of the handgun makers these days.  Another reason I went with CZ.  I got tired of trying to order parts for the M&Ps and having to order a spring here, a sear there, etc.  S&W (reportedly) won't sell you or me parts.  CZ has no issues with selling any part but the plastic frames for these guns.  You can even replace the metal frame rails in the plastic frames on the P07 and P09.
