I chose the P-01 because I actually carry it with a light. Makes the rail pretty important. Which light? Inforce APL at the moment. Considering switching to a Surefire X300U, but it is considerably larger. The Surefire XC1 would be cool, too, but I haven't been able to get any hands on experience with one yet. |
| Get both? The GF loves her PCR and I love my L's. The PCR feels a little lighter in the front to me and is a little more snappy. I don't find the rail to make it any more uncomfortable to carry and you can use a light. Her PCR has a nicer serrated trigger than the plastic stock one. PCR comes with a loaded chamber indicator and regular metal basepads on the mags. The GF steals my rubber basepad mags all the time. |

Either one is excellent. It's kind of like trying to decide who is cooler: Chuck Norris or The Most Interesting Man in the World.
Since it was near impossible to find a PCR locally, I chose the P-01. But I still want to slap the doofus who beat me to the PCR by 10 seconds.... |
