| Well actually I am torn between to guns a CZ and a GLOCK 34. Both will be in 9mm. I presently do not own either guns but I have heard sooooo many great things about the CZ. I am looking at the P-01 or the CZ85 combat. (I think that is what it is called.) What would be a first good CZ pistol between these two? This is not a carry or duty gun. Strickly a range queen. I know the GLOCK 34 is a special comp gun but these CZ are really looking good. How is customer service with CZ? Are after market mags and parts hard to find? |
| It all just depends on your taste in guns. If you like a nice smooth feeling piece of machined metal then the CZ is the way to go. If you do not care about that and just want a little tank then get the glock for simplicity especialy if it is a house gun you and your wife share. You can not go wrong with either hand gun. Pickem both up and the one that feels the best to you is the one I would get. |

I have the CZ PCR which has become my favorite handgun. I looked at a Glock 19 the other day...........really would like to own one but it didn't feel as good in my hand as my PCR so I passed on it. My PCR wasn't reliable out of the box, it took some break in to make it function perfectly (polished feed ramp and ran about 200 rounds through it), now it rarely misses a stroke (unless I'm using the WW box 100 round packs of target ammo). It's far more accurate than I am. |

Mags are made by Mecgar, and not hard to find. Not littering shows like G stuff, but easy enough. P01 or full size 75 varient. Either can run the $200 Kadet kit if lots of cheap .22 practice with the same frame and trigger makes you happier. Handle each, see which naturally points best in your hand. That's why I sold my Glock.. |
