I'm sitting here doing a little hotel gunsmithing tonight. I have my CZ75BD that im installing the custom tune kit on. Well the firing pin spring is about 3 times as long as the OE.

What am i missing here? do i cut this to length?

Anyone else install this kit?

thanks.

I was asking myself the same question about the recoil spring. The 12 lb spring fits and works, but is as strong as the factory, the 15lb spring is too long and binds the slide. It appears there is a reason they were so affordable. I was going to shoot a email off to Wilson to see what they say.

I wonder how Wilson came upon them, did I read correctly that they made them themselves?
Odd that a leading 1911 company would venture into the 75's.

Good question. I just bought them due to the price point. So far the hammer spring has reduced a good bit. I'm detail cleaning while i got it apart.

Got an email from Anthony informing me  (recoil spring) lock the slide back and let the spring take a set and it should work, if that doesn't do the trick, I should trim it back until it functions reliably.

I plan on calling him by Fri (tomorrow will be hell). By extension, I think the same logic will apply to your spring. I am not entirely satisfied

This is where I got my hammer springs, firing pins and firing pin spring kits (UL-SA/DA IIRC). this fixed my ignition problems in my CZ custom tuned 75b. Not a bash on CZ custom, by the way, I think it was set up for light primers only.

On a side note, I walked into the gun store that I bought the tuned gun from and was talking to an employee I had not previously met and got to talking CZs. He mentioned the "slicker than hell one they had in a few weeks back"
