I like my 75B so much that I've decided I want all my guns to be CZ's.
I sold my carry piece(M&P 45c, never warmed up to the trigger), and with the money I bought 2 excellent condition surplus CZ 83's from an online vendor.
I've never seen or held one, but they looked cool so I got them
Does anyone here carry one? I figure I'll carry my 75B when its cold and the 83 during shorts weather.
I know on arfcom .380 is considered a pussy caliber, but with 13+1 I'm not really worried about it.
What's the best place for mags? Any thing I should know about these pistols?
Thanks

The blowback fixed barrel design offers excellent mechanical accuracy. Recoil isn't bad due to the size of the pistol and everyone who shot my 9x18 CZ loved it.

One woman loved it so much she had to have it and cherishes it to this day.

They offer the typical DA/SA options of other CZs and can be carried either hammer down or SAO.

If I didn't have a .32ACP 83, I would most definitely have a 82 or 83 to enhance the CZ collection. They are great guns.

I like my 83 but man it's big and heavy for what it is, G19 size. Granted if you are concealing full size already it will seem much smaller.

I made some nice soft loads in .380 and even with blowback recoil system it is the softest center fire pistol I have.  Keeping it around so when my kids can have a easy transition from rimfire to center fire.

I have two 83's, one in .380 and the other 9mm Mak. Love them both. Probably not the optimum for concealed carry, they are rather large & somewhat heavy for the calibers they shoot. There are 9mm's close to same size, but it doesn't matter I wouldn't get rid of mine. They're built like a tank, they have shot anything I've put in them and I like the way they handle, feel & shoot. I'd still like to get one in .32ACP, unfortunately I may be too late on that.  Also wouldn't mind to have one of the .22LR conversions that I've heard about. I don't think they have been imported to the US though.

Very nice!

The pic reminded me that the 82 and 83 will accept CZ 75 sights.

Thanks for the info.

Whats the best deal on mags?

These are 26/each, but I've read some threads about some crap mags going around lately, and I wondered if these were some of those:

Really? So when I finally find my SP-01 and put CGW fiber optics on it, I can switch the stock night sights to one of my 83's?
