200 rounds though my new B series 40 cal today.
Shot a mixture of jhp and ball ammo. Cheap Winchester white box, steel cased Tula. Also shot a box of PMC hollow points and a box of Corbon 165gr hollow points. Had two FTFs. First one was a Corbon round, first magazine through the gun. Chalking that one up to "new gun" Second FTF was the last round, PMC, of a used magazine I picked up. I think the follower is just a little dirty. Other than those two the gun functioned great, I even mixed ammo within a single magazine and it ran great. I attached my weapon light and it still functioned 100%

| The only two CZ pistols in 40SW I've heard any reports of unreliability is the CZ 2075 RAMI in 40 and the first run of P-07s in 40, problems long since resolved. I missed that you said the second FTF was from a second hand magazine - that might be the issue there. What kind of FTF were they, nose up, nose down? I would always say go ahead and call CZ-USA, 1-800-955-4486, and ask the gunsmith. or press 2 for parts and ask Adam if he can send you a new follower for that magazine, if you think that might help. Was the first FTF with a new factory mag or with the new/old one? |
