With the VZ sale going on right now (coupon code Labor2013) we should have another grip thread here in the CZ forum to show off our wares both VZ and anything else we have on our wonderful CZ pistols.

Let's see 'em.

Before I post, I need to know - is this thread for a manufacturers benefit, VZ grips, because if so I won't clutter it with pictures of other makers stuff, wouldn't be right.

Four CZ pistols, three sporting Hakan Pek custom grips.

Close up of the P-01 grips.

PCR with Hakans.

Wife's CZ P-01 with one of a kind pink pearl plastic grips, a gift.

Most beautiful grips I ever owned, Hakan Pek Flame Ambiona...

Another look at those,

Hey, not all custom grips are wood! And these aren't really custom, but pretty rare to see on a CZ. :)

Crimson Trace...:)

Wish VZ made grips for these:

Guess this one doesn't count...

No longer have this one. I need another preB bad....

Yes, it IS rather difficult to up-grip a poly CZ. :)

One member elsewhere did report putting a Hogue Slip Grip on is P-09...

New grips today along with new blade.  Grips are really great!

Not VZs like my 75s have but these make the 97b much more comfortable in the hand.

Sorry to side track but question on how grippy the grenade is vs the checkered grips.

Similar question... how much thicker are the VZ grips compared to the stock grips, how much thinner are the aluminum? Which is better/shinier faster? i just prefer the feel of wood (or fake simulated wood) to rubber.

Here's a nice comparison pic of the grip thickness:

The frag style grips are a step up in grip texture from normal checkered grips. They offer a nice middle ground between the typical checkered style grips and the ultra aggressive VZ diamond backs.

I will agree with Maynard on this.  The VZ Diamond Backs are by far the most grippy.  They are sharp and really dig into the hand.  After shooting a mag or two, I will have the imprints of the grips in my hand.
I don't have the Frag pattern for a CZ but I do have one on my STI 1911.  It has a positive grip but doesn't dig into my hand.
The VZ tactical diamonds have the least amount of bite, but have a many diamond cuts to give it a little bit of texture.
My third 75 will get the Frag pattern

VZ's were the best upgrade I made to my SP01.  The factory rubber grips were way to wide and "slick" and I found it difficult to work the functions on the gun properly.  CHEERS TO VZ!  I have two P01's that will be getting a set for each.

Would anyone happen to have shots comparing the thickness of a vz or aluminum gripped gz to a 9/40/357 frame glock?

I believe they will also have coupons or discounts for Black Friday. If you sign up for VZs newsletter, they will send you a code via email.

They just had %15 off for Veteran's day.

didnt see a place to sign up for their newsletter, but did create an account on their page. Looking at the black/grey frags for my P-01. If they have a decent sale for black friday, a set will find its way to my mailbox

Mine look nearly Identical to the standard plastic grips, but they are more aggressive (g10) and have no grip swell.

A bit off topic, but which VZ grips do you guys prefer for CC?  It looks like the site is pushing the Frag, though I like the look of the tactical diamonds better.  Thoughts?

I love the frags but either grip style is an improvement over the OEM grips.
