I have a CZ 75 SP-01 Phantom and would like to have the trigger worked on. I want to reduce the pull and eliminate (or shorten) the pre-travel. I also do not want to be without the gun for a month or more. In reading some information on the internet it seems the decocker makes the job more difficult than normal and I don't think I want to do the work myself.
Does anyone have any recommendations for a good gunsmith that has experience with reworking the trigger of a Phantom? |
| Wow, trigger jobs for the Phantom are expensive. The decocker must require more parts or labor or both because they all want about $50 more to do them vs the non-decocker models. Thanks for the suggestions this is the first CZ I've owned and I am still learning my way around. |

| The CZ trigger is more complex than many. I picked up a new 75 on a special locally last December before the mad rush began. It has the Omega trigger...and that is sweet! I see no need for a trigger job on that pistol. Got a nice deal. Its the 75 B with the trillion night sights, three magazines and the Omega trigger and came in a special upgraded case. I think it was $530 at most. I thought it was a fair deal. Like that pistol. What I really liked was that it really didn't need a trigger job for me. Much smoother than my older CZ's. |
