I had a SS 75 a few years ago, that I ended up having to sell.  I was thinking about getting another one now but was wanting to find out a little more about them,
Anyone know of any sites that actually give useful information about the weapon? I am mainly curious about durability issues. Like most times, it seems I can find site that say they are wonderful, and others that say they aren't, but it seems it's based on opinion of the writer. I want to know info like how many rounds on average can I reasonably expect to go through before I start seeing significant wear or breakage of parts/pins. What kind of repair parts should be kept on hand, ect....

One would probably last a lifetime of shooting.Just like any gun, springs wear first, and if you'd have any trouble with something a broken trigger return spring would probably be it. Even if you could shoot out a barrel , a new one is $150.

I have a 75B with 16k rounds through it.  No problems.  Lots of folks use them in USPSA and the only high round count failures I have seen are of the extractor and the extractor spring.  Lot of people just replace the springs every few thousand rounds and the extractor and spring every year or so and don't have any problems.  I say if you like the feel of the gun, buy one, then buy an extractor, extractor spring, and trigger spring and shoot the heck out of it.

I have been a fan and owner of them for some years now. I have friends who use them in competition. They will do a spring replacement every year or two but honestly, this is common for any pistol I know of for the use they are getting. Just for fun do a bit of research on the 75 p=01 and see what they went through to get certified for NATO. Hard to believe any gun could take that sort of abuse.

I have bought four CZ's over the past ten years. All are GTG and I love them all.

I own a P01.

In my internet research, they seem a bit more breaky than Glocks, Berettas, SIGs, etc... but still very reliable.

I purchased a spare slide lock lever and trigger return spring,  as these seemed to be the parts that came up as having occasional issues.  Supposedly the slide lock lever is not as common an issue as it's been in the past, as they're using a stronger recoil spring now.

The slide lock lever is unfortunately a $35 dollar part.  Extractors occasionally came up as well, but not as often.  Fortunately the trigger return spring is only $2.

I have purchased several recoil springs ($5 each) and swap out the recoil spring every 3000 rounds, as most internet ramblings indicate weak recoil springs as the culprit for broken slide lock levers.

The other bit of a downer- if you want an "all metal" gun, they do make metallic recoil guides for the P01, though I've read the compact CZs are better with the polymer one, as the metallic ones will do a bit more wear and tear on the frame than desired.

All parts on all guns are subject to wear. Glock, Sig , Baretta, etc. CZ's are no different, remember they did pass that horrible NATO torture test. Take care of your gun and your gun will take care of you.
