Picked up a CZ 75 SP01 Phantom 9MM and all I can say is...WOW! Very sweet shooting pistol indeed and pretty lite too. My buddy has the SP01 Tactical and recommended the Phantom to me. Pick one up and you'll be pleasantly surprised.. |
| Hi - was thinking of buying one for a family member who finds my Shadow a bit heavy - could you tell me how you find the recoil and are there any negatives with the trigger - i.e. reset distance, double action etc? Have you tuned the pistol i.e. replaced springs, polished the trigger and hammer etc? |

Have you tuned the pistol i.e. replaced springs, polished the trigger and hammer etc? Recoil? What recoil? It's like shooting a BB gun. I find it to be milder than my BHP. DA is a bit gritty, but it's slowly working itself out. SA is butter.. |
| (ezyman) Recoil is extremely lite, the double action trigger is a little gritty but is getting better each time I shoot it. Single action trigger is as nice as my Sig STX 1911 and that's a compliment. I have not switched springs or anything it's a bone stock pistol. Trigger reset is not as nice as my Glocks....but it's not bad at all. All in all I'd recommend the Phantom as it's a good, solid 9MM. |
