I spied a non-import marked, round trigger guard, no hammer block CZ75 this morning in a gunshop that shall remain un-named. It is unfired, brand new, and looks every bit of it. There are no import marks, nothing. I'm curious as to what the going rate for one of these is. Thanks, CVN

No box, manual, or target. Finish is the standard black finish...gun is mint. If it did have a box, manual, and target, how much does that factor in? CVN there are 2 black finishes. the first was an epoxy type that has a tendency to flake/chip off. the newer one is the PC that holds up better. afa the accessories go, it depends on the collector and how much. could be an addtion $100, but again, depends on the person collecting. |
| There are plenty of good deals on CZ's right now, nobody has to be paranoid about anything. I saw a pebble grip, baked finish gun at the last show in excellent condition for $425. Was at a dealers yesterday that had a used full size .40 B for $359. Economy being what it is there are lots of guns of most every kind for sale, cheap. |

To give you an idea. I was offered $500 for my CZ 75 (1988).
I have the manual, target and the two orginal mags with the guns serial number etched in them. The box got destroyed after many moves. I'm the orginal owner I don't know if that helped the higher price. I don't really think there is a huge collector value for a pre-B CZ. They're just kind of cool to have and to shoot. I wouldn't spend any more on a mint classic than I would a new one. It took 22 years for the value to double |

I was just reading an old issue of G&A (Aug 2000) that mentioned the older cz75 fetching a grand or more. I am giving the mag to my gf since she owns a cz75b. Original short-rails are worth several grand. My '78 was a steal at $1050 OTD. Only approximately 15,000 were produced in total, and very few made it to the states. (AFAIK, all those here have made it by personal importation. I've heard rumors of some ex-Rhodesian CZs being imported recently that would liekly include short-rails, but I haven't seen any actual evidence of such an occurrence.) |

Robertson's has a bunch of rough-finished European imports that are running low-$300. Saw 2 pre-B's today for right at $500, both been sitting there on consignment for a long time.
