I just got one and the mags are bad and I want more too. Where can I buy them? I don't know if there is an alternative magazine that I can use but if you know something let me know?

Thanks.

What does 'bad' mean? Llamas are not known for their dead nuts reliability, but my guess is that if the mags ever worked at all, the main issue now would be springs. You should be able to find some double stack springs from Wolff that will work. Good luck on finding more mags, though...Llama has been out of business for some time now. You might place an ad on Gunbroker and also check out Gun Parts / Numrich to see what they might have. I have no idea if another mag can ber adapted to your pistol easily or not, but it is not worth spending a bunch to have it done.

Good Luck

Sorry about the late reply. And AR15 doesn't send me emails when I get a response so it's left up to me whenever I check in.

The mags are bad from years of shooting and mag lip manipulation with pliers. I fixed the feeding problem with a welder, dremel, and a new barrel. Now it feeds like a 1911 should. I'm planning on refinishing it and having some new grips put on it. But I don't have as many magazines for it as I like so its kind of weird that I should even consider it. If it was a single stack kind than finding mags would be no problem.

I did find one in California but when it got here it was for a smaller version of the the double stack. And it won't work.

I'm going to keep looking around and maybe pick up one here and there. I'm not real keen on paying more than they are worth so those guys on gun broker selling them for $75 I wish all the luck in their venture.

I guess I will just take it to the next gun show and try on as many mags as it takes until one fits.

I had a chance to look at a llama double stack at a gunshow. It seemed like a para ord mag fit, but the mag release was in the wrong place or wrong size.
