I have had one of these for a while.  Bought it new.  Haven't shot it much but really like it when I do.

What is the consensus on the quality / durability on these pistols?  I was considering using it for CCW

Opinions?

I had one it was a good shooter , but the mag safety never worked and the thumb safety would work sometimes.  Also my magazines would not feed the bullets if not cleaned on a regular basis..Trade it in on a para, you will be glad you did.

I never had any problems with the weapon dirty or clean.  I was under the impression that they were fairly popular when they came out.

Thanks for the reply.

I have a M43, other then being heavy for the size, they are very reliable firearms. They did on occasion break a firing pin but I don't know if that was related to actually shooting it or dry firing a lot. I've owned my M43 since just after they came out with them, no complaints.

I have a M43 and M40 and haven't had any issues with either one of them. Yes they are heavy for their size but mine have been very reliable an are accurate. I've had the M43 for about a year and have owned the M40 for about 12 years now. I have put plenty of rounds through the 40.
