[ARCHIVED THREAD] - Bersa Slide Catch

Hey guys.

I have a Bersa Thunder 9 Ultra Compact. The slide is not locking back on the last round in the magazine. Mags seem fine, cleaned the gun THOROUGHLY. How can you tell if the slide catch is faulty? ie. Only has about 1000 rounds down the pipe.

Your best bet is to go to the Bersa Talk technical forum and post your problem there. The forum is monitored by a guy from one of the Bersa warranty centers and is really good about getting people taken care of.

That sucks, but it's not like it doesn't happen with every kind of firearm at times. The Bersa's do have a limited lifetime warranty though.

Yea man, I need to check that out. Overall, Im happy with the gun, very accurate, no other malfunctions.
