FWIW FN is re-releasing the FNP-9 sometime in May or June. They re-designed the decocker and the decocker, slide stop lever, take down lever and barrel will be all black. The slide is blackened stainless steel, by the way of Diamond-Tungsten-Carbide ( same stuff Kahr uses). FN will be releasing the FNP-40 which has a magazine capacity of 14 rounds, compared to the 16 round for the FNP-9. FN will also release a compact version, which is the FNP-9M which has a magazine capacity of 15rds. The person I spoke to at FN did not know if the "all black" guns will still have the 3½ lb  SA trigger pull.

I own an FNP-9, it's a great shooter, the DA pull is 10 lbs, the SA pull breaks at 3½ pounds.

Here's the "old" version.

I really love mine, I just wish I could find a good IWB holster for it.

Yep. I have to carry mine in a fag-bag or stuff it down the front of my pants "gangsta style". I do have a sucky Uncle Mikes inside the waist band holster that I sometimes use.

I've been thinking of trying the SmartCarry system for carrying this pistol.
My other carry guns are ubiquitous enough that I can find specially made holsters for them.

For all you who have one,

I looked at a brand new FNP-9 (olds style per your description) that I can pickup.

What is a good price for one of these?

Interesting.  I really liked the FN, but the decocker felt a bit on the flimsy side.  I am looking forward to fiddling with the new one.  I too would like to know the price for a new one.

Cheers

The ones being sold with 3 LEO marked full capacity mags seem to be going 360-399.

It came with (2) Civilian mags (10rds) including 2 backstraps, case, nib for $275.

Hell of a deal and I couldn't pass it up!!!!!!

Heck, a S&W Sigma is $280-$310 and I think it is nowhere near as nice as the FN!
