OK, I picked up a new CW9 last week.  I have been looking forward to carring this for my main CCW since I picked it up but I have an issue with it.  I hope that it is an easy fix or it will work it self out, but who knows.

I took it out and put about 170 rounds through it.  I did not have a single problem UNLESS I tried to load a full mag.  When I would load a full mag, I would get a FTF and the round would "go flat" and not be pushed up into battery.  If you took one round out, it would cycle and fire without a problem.

While at the range, I ran 5 round mags without problem.  I ran some federal ball ammo and some JHP all without issue.  Is this something that will fix itself once it gets a few more rounds through it, or is this something that needs to be looked at by Kahr?

Thanks in advance.

Easy one ! !

How are you closing the slide on a full mag ? ? ?  Owners manual says you MUST close the slide by using the slide stop when you have a full mag.  If you down-load the mag by one round you can close the slide but pulling it back and the releasing it.

I know this sounds funky, but the manual says you must do it this way, and it WORKS ! !

Enjoy your new CW9 –– I know I sure enjoy mine ! !

OK, I read through that but must have missed this part.  Thanks.  I will give it a try and hope it works.

This fixed issues on two PM9s that I've seen.

Thanks for the help.  Other than this little issue, my new Kahr ran great.  Shot well and hit where I pointed it.
