One of the guys at the gun club let me play with his PM9 a couple of months ago, and I've wanted one ever since - I've wanted something between my LCP and Sig 228 for daily carry.  I really like the size and weight, especially in 9mm.  I finally picked one up on GB for $549, and just got it yesterday.  Today I ran a couple of hundred rounds of WWB and a box of Speer Gold Dots through it.  I found it easy to shoot, with a good trigger, accurate for what it is and 100% reliable.  I'm glad I got it, and I think It will be one of my most frequent choices for daily carry.

nice gun, u will love it.  treat it right and it will reward you ten fold.  I have 24,850 rounds through my PM9 and never an issue.  Goes in my front pocket 24/7 also. IMO the best ccw gun on the market..

You will love it. It is a perfect carry gun. Slim, light and doesn't print much if at all. I've got a LCP, PM9 and HK45C. I find that I carry the PM9 the most.

ur right there. I have an lcp and P380 kahr but still go tomy PM9 95% of the time for my front pocket carry. It is bigger, comon sense willtellyou that, but a 9mm trumps a 380 all day ad all night.. I have found that I cvan caryr my PM9 almost as easy as my lcp/P380...

Ahhh, the long lonely road to finding a sub $550 PM9 I have been traveling.

Its not that long of a road. Decent deals are out there. Just need to be diligent and look everyday. You also need to act QUICKLY and buy it without trying to wait for a better deal. Set your price in mind and as soon as one comes up take it!! Actually there is one right now listed for $500 on one of the sites...can't remember which one or I would IM it to you.
I picked up a PM45 with NS for $475+20 for shipping. I also just picked up a Black Diamond PM9 that looks like new with a pocket holster for $500+15 for shipping. Both of these were found on-line scouring these sights.
Good Luck,
WW

That is perfect. I am making a phone call tomorrow.

Thanks a million.

Now, night sights or no. Hmmm. I never had a gun with night sights.

Go with the night sights, it would be useless in low light without them. It is, in my opinion, not an option but rather a necessity on a carry gun.

Does Arizona Gun Runners sell to civies? Their recorded message left me a little confused yet I still left a message for them.

I did not hear back so I will call again tomorrow.

How long do the sights stay bright?

Assuming they are the Meprolights that typically come on Kahrs, they are warrantied for 10 years. That should give you an idea. Unlike luminescent sights, they do not need to be "recharged" every so often. They glow until the tritium fails, presumably about a decade from manufacture.

Do these guys ever answer?

Back on the hunt.

I personally cant really see night sights being that handy on a gun with a 3 inch barrel.  Being a pocket gun this is more of defensive
gun and not a gun I would necessarily confront someone with on offense.  Most defense encounters will be with 6 to 8 feet.  If one cant
hit their target at that distance then they have major problems.  JMO.

That right there is the problem.  MOST happen in that distance but not all and for $80 I would rather be convered for ALL cirumstances.  It's < $8/year to get night sigts.  Don't buy one can of pop a month and you have them paid for.

Well got a hold of AZGR and they sell to civies. Unfortunately you are put on a waiting list for the PM9. Oh well, it is worth the wait if I am freezing it at that price.

I am taking the advice of getting the model w/ the NS.

Exactly, point and shoot guns sometimes wind up in not-so point and shoot situations. Laugh at the three inch barrel all you want to, but once you learn the Kahr trigger these little buggers are accurate.
