I just picked up  a PM 9.  I am very impressed with the pistol.  The only issue I've had is that the flush fit mag dropped out during shooting causing a FTF.  This happened about 4 times during a 150 rounds of shooting.  I have the pearce extender on it.  I made sure the mag was fully in the gun and I made sure my thumb was not hitting the release during shooting.  This was the only flush fit mag that I have so I ordered another to see if it is the magazine.  Has anyone had a similar experience?  I'm waiting for the new mag to come in the mail.

take the extender of fof it and try it.  Some of those pearce extenders have given issues like your talking about.  Just go back to the normal set up and see how it works. It if still does it, give kahr a call and have them sendyou a new magazine release.  My bet it is the extender.  did the other magazine that came withthe gun pop out as it is the 7 round version??

I had the same type of thing happen to me when I first took my PM9 to the range. The mag release on my pistol was very light and the mags would pop out at the slightest touch. I contacted Kahr and they sent me out a new mag release and spring. Once I installed the new parts, I haven't had any problems since....

Yep that was it!  I called Kahr and they sent me a new mag release and spring.  The new one is metal.  Works great now.

The same thing happened to my P40.  They sent me a new magazine release that kept them from falling out but then the slide would not stay back after the last round.  I dumped that gun in a trade.  I have not had much luck with the plastic framed pistols so now I'm looking into getting a steel frame one.  I've heard they tend to work better.  The Khars are by far the best feeling gun to carry but they need to work or I won't carry them.
