My buddy just bought a Kahr in 9mm. It  was $700 + tx. Is this a fair price?

normally between 6 and 700, mostly $600. but guns are scarce and kahrs are scarce, so if he is happy, then it is a fair price. I would not walk away from a buy for $50 under todays circumstances..

It depends on the model. My CW9 plus a hogue grip was $450 out the door. Thats a far cry from  "normally 600-700".

I guess I thoght he was referring to the PM series kahrs.  the cw series is listed on this forum under handguns for sale for $400 every day, so ur cw9 was about the right price indeed. Sorry about that..

There are different configurations of the Kahr P9 and PM9. If that is the model we are discussing.

The basic 2-tone with standard sights is much less expensive than the PM9 with factory night sights and black slide.

If he paid $700 for a CW9, he got ripped off.
