| So I just bought a used p45. Only have about 150 rounds through it myself but I havent had any problems. The gun seems pretty well broke in. I was on the Kahr website and I noticed that my gun has the "old" slide style. They only mention the dovetails being cut differently but I am wondering if they changed anything else. Im just looking for a potential problem before it becomes trouble.. I was impressed by its natural aim and minimal recoiul for a gun of its size. The sights hit way low but I will just aim high. It seems to be a good point and shoot gun though. |

Mine also shot low I ended up putting some tritium MMC sights on , it's a great carry gun I put a set of those on my K9 and they are really nice, I put the adjustable rear site system. Both of my kahrs shot low for me but I do think it wa smore my site picture than anything else. As lately I have been able to bring my shots up where they belong. Also that looooong trigger until you get used to it will produce low shots and I know that was alot of my troubles to. I was able with my site pusher to install those sites myself, Was a real bugger getting the original kahr sites out though. I think I would let kahr do them.. Onecan go to glcok talk and hit on the kahr foruma nd the very first sticky is kahr serial numbers. Yo ought to be able to find the date of birth of your guns within a few moths there. to my knowledge the only differnec kahr made in their slides is the size of the dovetail cuts, why they changed I don't have a clue but you have a good slide on ur used 45, so just shoot it like you stole it |
