| I noticed my CW45 slide is hard to pull back with a round in the chamber. If you pull it back with normal pressure it only pulls back about half way. If you put more force it will eject the round. With nothing in the chamber or with a empty or no magazine its fine. It only jams when a round is in the chamber. What could cause that? I havent tried to fire it yet. Want to make sure its gtg before I do so. I noticed it because I had it full of FMJ rounds and when I went to unload it to put in hollow points it jammed as I was cycling the action. |

I would pull the barrel and drop a round in the chamber, rotate it and pull it in and out. Just to make sure you didn't develop a bur in the chamber. Outside of a chamber problem I can't think of what it could be?
Over at kahrtalk they recommend polishing the chamber when new, because of the chamber being so tight. But with yours having 500 rounds through it?? |

Cycle the action faster. You are probably just hitting the ejector and jamming the gun up, because you are pulling the slide to the rear to slow. I take it the gun functions fine when you pull the trigger? It did before I noticed it doing this. I havent had time to shoot it since I have noticed it. I will shot it this weekend to find out if its messed up or if its just me. If I pull back the slide hard and fast its fine so I maybe jamming it up. I never tryed to cycle a full mag through it by hand. |
