Pardon my ignorance, BUT I will be purchasing my first Kahr in the very near future. I was reading on their website that these pistols do not have a magazine disconnect, what does that mean?

It means you can still fire the pistol without a magazine inserted....

ETA:

I have a PM9 and I love it.....!

Magazine disconnect is a "feature" added to guns so they can be sold in anti-gun states that require it.  It disables the gun if there is no magazine inserted, which seems like a good idea if you're a leftwing legislator in California.

What kind of Kahr are you getting?  I carry my MK9 most days, and my PM380 when I have to dress nicer.

If you're mugged by some rich gang-banger who can afford a Commie-compliant piece, just grab the grip and release the mag. Now his expensive bling won't go BANG!
