I went to the range again today with my new PM9. I shot 250 rounds through it last time with 3 malfunctions. This time I shot 200 more rounds and only had one (1) malfunction. It was a failure to feed about round 115. It was the same 7 round magazine that I marked as trouble the first range trip. It has to be the magazine. The gun is smooth and I am getting to like the trigger more each time I shoot it. It is no where as nice as my Glock with a 3.5 lb connector but it is what it is. A long smooth trigger with no reset unless you let it all the way out. It is going to be my EDC as soon as I can shoot about 200 rounds with no malfunctions. The six round and one seven round are good to go, but one of the seven rounders is questionable. I again used CCI Blazer 115 grain. I have yet to get ahold of any of the Winchester Ranger 147 grain that the department has to try. I am going to the Hickory Gun/Fun show this weekend so I might pick up another six round magazine up there. Cleat
I love my PM9. I have about 300 rounds through mine with zero problems. It sometimes does not like to be loaded with the sling shot method but after the second try the slide will go forward and lock into battery. I really like my PM9. Now I just need more magazines.
I shot another 200 rounds tonight. Had one failure to feed some where around the 50 round mark. Once again it was the same magazine that I marked as malfunctioning. That is a total of 650 rounds with failures only with one magazine. The two other magazines that I am using have not had any failures at all. Once again I am using cheap CCI aluminum case blazer 115 grain. Plan on trying the Win Ranger 147 soon. Will let you know how that goes. I was given a box of 100 grain frangible tonight. Forget the manufacturer but will probably save that for practice later. I am using the whole hand over top of the slide method to release the slide. Try to practice the same gross motor skills each time. Cleat

I had a few failure to feeds when I was first trying out my PM9 as well and it was only with one particular magazine. I put wolf springs in all of my mags (also cleaned them out real well) and never had a problem again. Also check and make sure your follower looks normal––no cracks, burrs, etc.
