| So I've had my XD40 for about a year now and have put close to 1500 rounds through it without so much as a hiccup. I have loved shooting it and think its a great pistol. Well I go out to the range a few weeks ago because I just drank the kool aid (Glock) and put a few hundred rounds the G27 and 100 through my XD. Neither one had a single problem! I leave town for a few weeks for work and when I got back last night the mag release on my XD is VERY HARD to press. I have to put it on a solid platform and press with both hands as hard as I can and Im not a weak person by any means! I dont know what the problem can be, but right now Im thinking send it to Spingfield let them fix it then get a G19 or 22 to replace it. Did I mention Ive never cared for Glock but after the 27 Im in love. |
